Warranty Policy

HIBOY and YADEA offer a limited one-year warranty. All HIBOY and YADEA products are covered under a manufacturer’s 1-year all-inclusive warranty for the original owner against manufacturing defects.

Warranty Target Audience

Items sold directly by Kimberley Innovation Pty Ltd or its authorised resellers are covered by a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase.

Warranty claims for purchases made through authorised distributors and retailers are handled by Kimberley Innovation.

Warranty Eligibility and Claims Process

1-year warranty does not cover issues caused by unauthorised modifications, repairs, incorrect use, accidental damage, or improper maintenance.

After 30 days from purchase, scooters with manufacturing defects are not eligible for replacement with a new unit. Eligible defects will be repaired or serviced under warranty.

Proof of purchase (you must provide the original purchase receipt), product serial number and photos/videos of the damaged product are required with any warranty request.

Please contact us before making a claim, as there may be a simple fix for your issue. Valid warranty claims must be submitted within 1 year of initial purchase.

Kimberley Innovation will not replace any part without first reviewing photos or videos of the damage. Customers must provide evidence via email.

This Limited Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Damage due to abuse, misuse, and neglect.
  • Water or humidity damage to electrical parts, including high-pressure water usage (electric scooters and bikes are not waterproof)
  • Fire damage, chemical damage, surface damage, Flat tires.
  • Use of the product for commercial purposes or competitions.
  • Normal wear and tear parts (consumables, lights, brakes, decals, wheels, tyres, inner tubes, grip tape, handlebar grips)
  • Unauthorized modifications, including the use of third-party components, repairs by unauthorized providers, or disassembly without prior approval.
  • Bending or cracking of aluminium parts caused by excessive load.
  • Natural disasters such as cyclones, earthquakes, floods, lightning, extreme weather, fires, or accidents.

Limitation of Damages

Except where prohibited by law, Kimberley Innovation Pty Ltd (HIBOY and YADEA) shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, revenue, or data resulting from warranty breaches.

No compensation is provided for personal injury or property damage arising from the use of the product. Some jurisdictions may not allow certain exclusions, so these limitations may not apply to you.
